Off-duty, Sasha Pivovarova shows off her quirky sense of style in a pair of floral patterned pants, lots of layers, and a fur gilet.

Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the wall at the shooting of a Chanel campaign? Rachel Scroggins of The Greyest Ghost managed to be exactly that when Karl Lagerfeld got out his camera for the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2010 ad campaign.

It’s odd to see Abbey Lee Kershaw with such a sleek shoulder-length bob… but she always looks amazing, and the striking black eyeliner is perfect with the look. Freja Beha Erichsen stars with Abbey in Chanel’s luxurious boucle tweeds, fluffy furs and mukluks.

We’re looking forward to seeing the final results of Karl’s shoot.

We loved it on Karlie Kloss, with her sultry look and svelte pose, when she wore it in Numero Magazine. But you can never fault Anja Rubik either. The short, side-parted hair and platform heels adds a 70s retro feel to the dress.

Anja’s photo comes from the Spring 2010 campaign from Saks Fifth Avenue, showcasing outfits from pretty much every big name designer you could think of – and Anja, transforming from look to look to match each outfit, is gorgeous as always.

But back to the two pictures of the one Gucci dress: my vote is with Karlie for the confidence and sensuality she oozes in the shot. You can visit the forum thread link below if you want to cast your vote.

Here’s a shoot by photographer Anouk Morgan featuring models Darla and Drielle. I’m loving the classic makeup with bold red lips, for which we have Jenny Kanavaros to thank.

I’m rather liking this Spring 2010 lookbook from J.Crew. Sometimes sporty, sometimes dandy, always cool and casual, there are some pretty neat styling ideas for simple pieces layered in different ways.

It also helps that Magdalena Frackowiak is the model.

Here’s a cute little outtake from Russh Magazine‘s 33rd issue: an unused shot from Bambi Northwood-Blyth’s pictorial in the issue.

There’s a particular beauty that comes from perfection in form and shape, and Alisse Thatcher knows it. Her new range of knitwear and shapewear – THATCHER by Alisse Thatcher – is based around seamless design, form-fitting shapes, and elegant silhouettes; with modern-classic designs that aim to stand the test of time.

Sydney born Chelsea Scanlan is a model we frequently see storming the runways of L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) and Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW). But while she’s great on the runway, I can’t say I’ve ever seen her looking quite as spectacular (and frankly darn sexy) as she does in this shoot by Akila Berjaoui. Love the hair and makeup.

One of the things I’m most looking forward to for Winter is getting more wear out of my collection of capes. As a garment a cape can be made to look dark and Gothic; or quirky and whimsical; or, my favourite way to wear them, utterly elegant and classic. Model Ieva Laguna achieves the latter while off-duty in Milan.

I like to occasionally hit you with some Zippora Seven, the Kiwi model whose career was born out of controversy and has been going strong ever since. Today’s dose of Zippora comes courtesy of Akila Berjaoui, a photographer whose work I really like, and who I’ve become a regular stalker of.
